Make more money through Adsense Conversion

Adsense Formula

Adsense Conversion otherwise known in Google terms as CTR is the rate of impressions by the rate of clicks. A hypothetical example:
12 Clicks / 3430 Impressions = 0.35 CTR

Thankfully Google has already done the calculations for you which are displayed when you first log into your Adsense homepage.

Now as Adsense publishers, this is a significant key area you will need to aim to increase your earnings. As it against TOS it’s against Google policy to disclose your CTR, so I’m purely going to use hypothetical examples.

Conversion Rates can have many different outcomes; some of the main influences can be the types of ads that are being served:

Relevant Branded Ads
These are the type of keywords that are unique to your brand name.
For instance: Porsche’s 911 GT3 Turbo
Ads that will appear that contain “Porsche 911 Turbo” will generally have a good conversion rate.

Competitor Advertisers
Competitions can compete for your keywords, this means that you can have a website about Luxurious Porsche’s but ads from your local competitor will be replaced with Mercedes Advertisements.

Information Advertisements
These are the keywords that will describe your product. When your selling BMW rims and ads appear providing information, the conversion rate will depend on the users knowledge of that product.

Associated Ads
You’ve got a page dedicated to buying mustangs, but your inventory is filled with ads about Rally Driving Courses, then your conversion rate will be affected by these related ads.

You could experiment with your site by removing Ads via your adjusting your Competitive Ad Filter. By experimenting with the different range of ads, you may be able to increase your CTR.
Another known method is to block out MFA (Made for Adsense Sites), these sites are generally filled with Adsense and are generally vague and brief on their chosen topic.
Ads blacklist is a tool you can use to block out common ads based on your keywords.

Other areas that affect your Conversion Rate is how your ads appear. Different sites will work with alternative combination’s and that’s where you’ll need to experiment with different positions and sizes and color. Eventually with experimentation you’ll find a formula that will increase your CTR,
Google has provided a hotspot map as a guide to help webmasters.

Adsense Hotspot

Adsense Hotspot

Having Adsense the focus point of your website is used commonly by MFA (made for Adsense websites), The key format is that when a user enters a website they will see nothing but your Adsense.
Below is an example of this formula.

In the long run, this style of page will lose traffic as users will be less inclined to link to towards this style. . Therefore your traffic statistics will gradually decrease. Adsense publishers need to find a balance that will generate an acceptable Conversion ratio but will not deter users from revisiting.

What is a good CTR then?
I cannot answer this for you and this really depends on what you require. Do you require a website purely to make money based on High Traffic Keywords and targeted niches? Perhaps a website to help pay for server bills and your time and you’re not concerned about earnings. Or earnings is an issue but you don’t want to inhibit future users? Each Answer to these questions will be different based on your needs.

To help I’ve created a formula of a conversion rate that which is reflective from publishers thoughts.

0- 1% - Most common rate, the ads are clicked very little. Some tweaking may be needed. Forums generally have this figure with the leaderboard banners and leaderboard’s in the first post.
1- 2.5% - If you’ve got a non intrusive website than this is a good figure to have that should generate good earnings with the right traffic and keywords.
2.5 – 5% - Your Conversion Rate is good and with high traffic, earnings should be substantial.
5% - 7.5% - An exceptional conversion rate, however are your ads intrusive? If not than you’ll be making thousands if you’ve got the traffic and the keyword worth.
+7.5% - I’d be concerned about figures above this if you’re site isn’t MFA, you could be a victim of click fraud. Otherwise congratulations, millions of publishers are envious.

Truth about High Paying Keywords

You may have seen Marketers attempting to sell you lists of High Paying Keywords. These keywords determine how much you’ll get paid based on clicks, when your adsense code is placed onto your webpage. Who determines the value of these keywords are set by advertisers, who pay for the right to have their ads onto your webpages or search results.

Emerged for the past 5 years have been lists, but honestly don’t waste your money buying a list of high paying keywords, most of these sites, will just take your money and you’ll waste time building sites targeted on outdated keywords.

The truth is, that the Highest Paying Keywords have changed. These keywords have had much attention from webmasters all over the world for the past 5 years. Infact thousands of webpages have appeared to target these keywords. What you may not know is that finding the true value of these keywords can be done by either viewing adwords statistics or viewing adsense campaigns.

Below is outlined the method, step by step.
1) Open up an adword account
2) Once you’ve setup your account
3) Start a new campaign and then identify via keywords.
4) Adjust your maximum to something very high, to enable you to see the true value.
5) Using the keyword option in adwords.
a) Click on Tools
b) Keyword Tool
c) On the right you will see, Add your own keywords.
d) Click Save Changes and this will redirect you to a campaign summary that will list all of your
high paid keywords, including the the prices…

However be careful and if you’re found to try and build adsense webpages than two things will either happen:
1) You wont get much traffic due to, being a webpage that’s not relevant or worth anything.
2) You could get removed by Adsense altogether.

Just how important is this method, can be seen below, I’ve compared three major high paying keyword data, two of those high profiled websites. The conclusion that I uncovered was that there was a huge difference in top keywords and additionally they all had different data.

Bloggers using spam blogs for revenue

Blogs are becoming increasingly worrying phenomenon on the Internet, mainly because many spammers use to generate income from Ad Sense.

Ad sense spam blogs as the name suggests, it is all about blogs, which have little or nothing in terms of content and is created primarily to attract and generate traffic in the specified direction. The vast majority of these spam b
logs carry Ad Sense, because spammers aim is to generate a lot of Ad Sense in this illegal and unacceptable way. Many Ad sense spam blogs are solely for the purpose of creating hundreds of links pointing to your blog to improve the SEO ranking of the largest search engines. Spam blogs contain links to another, which aims to make best use of their illicit trade network with spam blogs.

The Ad Sense blog spam threat has an impact on service providers that free popular blogs. Blogger.com, the most popular and host of millions of blogs were the hardest hit.

Ad sense spam blogs are a growing threat and a very serious problem, which is currently very strongly challenged by a broad population of Blogger.com. Not only these blogs are just a waste of valuable resources and space in order to better use elsewhere, but they endanger all members to enjoy the World Wide Web. Ad sense spam blogs online is a risk in the long term, if not properly treated and strong.

Most Profitable AdSense Secret

How do you choose the most profitable Ad sense secret, where there is so many little secrets, some of which have large differences in income from Ad Sense publishers? Interestingly, a small number of so-called secrets are not so little and are worth hundreds, or even thousands of dollars for so many webmasters and bloggers.

The fact is that the most profitable Ad sense secret s
ite depends on several factors. Probably the most important thing is to know what level of development and income from Ad Sense site has been achieved. If you have little traffic and run Ad Sense, there are many secrets that have an impact on earnings in the Ad Sense program and revenue. At this stage of development, the most profitable Ad sense secrets could mean 200 or 300 percent increase in revenues Ad sense, sometimes more.

On the other hand, an area that is already Ad sense money is unlikely to implement a secret to anyone that signifies improvement in its profitability in Ad Sense. In this phase, which usually occurs is that many small changes occur in the performance of each idea to add the usual big impact, to sum it all. So really it is no longer viable secret that Ad sense can be emphasized.

Adsense Good For Small Business

The answer starts with other question. Is AdSense a product for customers to find value? If the answer is “yes” and then, AdSense might be good for small businesses at home. Like you offered products, it must be weighed against your other products and evaluated in the light of competitors and sales strategies.

This format makes the whole idea of integration in the AdSense site seems to be too complicated. It would certainly open up the Google AdSense program, add code and hope for the best events.

Perhaps the content of the page will attract advertising for people to click on and maybe not. You can send objectives for visitors’ competitor or simply left on the topics you have not specifically covered all its other products.

If AdSense is a product, the objective should be to understand how the product creates its revenues and net profit discuss in different scenarios. There is a certain time and effort needed to integrate and maintain the AdSense site. If you are loosing traffic to your other products, will a “click” income can survive it?

AdSense is relatively simple, but it must be seen against the background of its business plan and information about the marketing plan. If AdSense is good for small business, you can find answers to your small business.
